Hi all,

Russian, French, Dutch and English "Edge's" are now live on the
site :

    http://www.netbeans.org/community/news/edge-21_ru.html
    http://www.netbeans.org/community/news/edge-21_fr.html
    http://www.netbeans.org/community/news/edge-21_nl.html
    http://www.netbeans.org/community/news/edge-21.html

Also, the Russian, French, and English editions just went out to
the appropriate mailing lists.

Note the filenames, as well as the directory where Edge's will
be archived, has changed.

Apologies to translators for the delay in getting this edition
out. Since I had to do some work on Sprout/The Edge for the
new design etc, I took the chance to clean up some old bugs.
A short list :

- the "bookmarks" as specified in translated XML files should now
   work correctly and appear in translated editions (previously they
   were ignored);

- UTF-8 everywhere :-) All editions, all mails, are now UTF-8
   encoded, which makes things much simpler for the website (and
   publishing scripts);

- To do the above, I had to set up auto-conversion of non UTF-8
   input, ie tranlsated xml files can be encoded in non UTF-8 and
   the import process will handle it automatically. Not sure this
   will work for all/other charsets, so UTF-8 is still preferred
   for any new languages;

- Not so visible but I did a big clean up of the internal process
   by which the newsletters are generated. Most noticable change
   is that all language editions are now built from a single
   template, whereas previously a new template had to be created
   for each language. This means all fonts/html/layout between
   editions are identical (fixing the old font size problem in the
   RU edition);

- process is reasonably well internationalised now, so adding
   new languages should be very easy;

- and many many smaller bugfixes;

I was working on getting localised subjects for the translated
mails, but that is a little tricky and I ran out of time. Maybe
for next issue.

Any problems pls let me know.

Great work everyone!
