Re: Netbeans Partners and netbeans.org website

Hi Jack,

Thanks for the helpful post. It's good to see that the community has 
already recognized the need
and I'm glad a news section may be of interest.

Looking at the website top level navigation bar, under "Products" we 
present both the
Netbeans IDE and Netbeans platform.  The next top level navigation bar 
section after "Products" is
"Plugins" which maps to the Netbeans IDE product.

My sense is that we should consider a top level navigation bar section 
"Platform Partners".
I know the nav bar screen real estate is valuable, but it does look like we 
have a large number
of platform partners. We probably should highlight that our platform 
partners, particularly since Eclipse
is pushing this angle.  Alternately another approach could be to use the 
products page and create a 3rd
top level section "Partner Products".  Thoughts?

I agree the page would benefit from a bit of redesign. Perhaps some sort of 
table of contents or
tabular summary at the top of the page since it is quite lengthy.
