Hi André,

If you don’t need a GUI (the mdr explorer), you can build the uml2mof tool,
and use the jars that stands in the release directory of that tool. If you
need a GUI, use the MDR within the netbeans platform (it runs faster…)

Good luck.

Francois-Regis.

Objet : [mdr-dev] running MDR outside of netbeans

Hi,

I am looking for information on how-to run MDR outside of the netbeans IDE.
Can you point me to the right resource?

I have looked for DJava but was not able to locate this resource.

I have downloaded the mdr project from cvs and was successfully able to
compile the source code. But, when I trace the code it seems I am unable to
create the default repository. Is there a basic setup guide I can use to
prepare the openide so I am able to make MDR think it is running inside
netbeans!

Thank you in advance,

André Hamel
