I picked this up on your mailing list as well and must say I was delighted to hear that our software (MoTMoT etc.) will be able to process the UML 2.0 models from MagicDraw with MDR's MOF 1. Among other things, that triggered a discussion with Hans Schippers that eventually lead to this thread. We'd like to learn more about the limitations of MOF 1 and JMI 1. Apart from that, we're still hoping that MDR will be (??? or is ???) upgraded such that it can process MOF 2 models, possibly generated by other frameworks (like EMF). I still have to look into the details of the bridges developed by the ATL team: are they 100% generic, lossless, performant, ... Looking forward to learn more about this, Pieter.
