Apache was the first logical choice and then we discussed we contacts we had in Apache about whether that would be a good move. Being a contributor is more than contributing code. It's documentation, ideas, direction, etc. At this point, we have an initial list of committers, which we'll extend with more after incubation proposal is accepted, which could be in a few days. Once the proposal is accepted, we enter incubation, and then licenses and all kinds of other things, e.g., the migration of the infrastructure will be figured out in detail.
