Really?! I understand the iteration order of the current code, I just don't understand why anyone would want that behaviour. If an image is branded or localised, that's usually for a good reason. If it contains the name or logo of your application, or a translated word or symbol, why would you ever want to fall back to the dark default image without those changes?
