A few questions to this (please feel free to move the thread to nbui@, 
it seems to diverge from dev@projects content):
Hmm - isn't it a waste of screen estate for simple objects with a few 
properties ? How will be the "view" use case supported in the future ? 
OTOH it seems rather obtrusive to replace/hide the editor area - being 
(to the minute) the main area of work - with another window just to 
inspect some properties.
