[[TF-dev]] Next week opening - Community NB 6.8 IDE Translation Contest!

Hi team,

As we are approaching final updates for NB 6.8, we would like to 
encourage you to translate as much as you can.

We will be giving *awards* to the most active community/ies and 
community members.

*1. What is there to win?*

1x external hdd (200 GB)
8x book (http://www.sun.com/books/catalog/rich_client_programming.xml)
several usb sticks
t-shirts
squeeze toys
torches
pens

*2. What are the rules?*

/A. For communities contributing to *Platform and JavaSE modules*:/

- The *fastest* community to translate 100% of the Platform and JavaSE 
modules will win the *external hdd*.
/(If more members, the prize would go to the most active member, others 
would get usb sticks/book.)/
- The *second* and *third* fastest community will win *a book and usb 
sticks*.
/(If more members, the prize would go to the most active member, others 
would get usb sticks or t-shirts.)/
*Other* *winners:* All communities who finish translating the Platform 
and do a considerable translation of JavaSE modules (*other goodies*).

/B. For communities contributing to *Platform* only:

/- The *fastest* community to translate 100% of the Platform will win 
*a* *usb stick and a** t-shirt*. /

/- The *second* and *third* fastest community will win *t-shirts and 
other goodies*.

*3. When to start?*

We are planning re-start CTI projects on *Monday 11/16* or on *Tuesday 
11/17* at the latest. Stay tuned!

*4. When to finish?*

The sooner, the better, ..and the more chance to win! :-)
For *Release Candidate 1* (RC1) integrations, we would need the 
translations by *Thursday 11/19*.
But no worries if you cannot finish by then. The *latest day for 
integrations *into NB 6.8 will be *Wednesday 12/02*.
You can still go on translating / fixing *after this date*, however, 
your contributions would go to NB 6.8.1 some time next year.
