[TF-dev] Re: Translating NetBeans tutorials

Paul,

thanks for the information. I have one comment and two questions ;-)

First the comment: I was asking mainly because every now and then one of 
my students (I give Java classes as a freelance trainer) wants to know 
about this.

Now the questions:

1.
As I understand it, the switch to launchpad is taken because Oracle 
decommissioned OpenCTI. Does anybody know if Oracle accepts (or will 
accept) the use of launchpad? What I mean is: a) Will the translations 
even be used by netbeans.org and b) When will be the next migration to 
the next tool?

2.
Is launchpad the right tool to translate longer texts like tutorials, 
which in addition don't exist as plain text but HTML with mark-up all over?

Please don't get me wrong - I'm just asking my students' questions :-)
I for myself appreciate your work very much, and maybe I'll even find 
some time to contribute...
