Hi, I have downloaded and installed Netbeans 3.6. It is a good product, but the editor keyboard shortcuts are very poor. I use Editplus editor on Windows 2000 and I am verymuch habituated with the standard keyboard shortcuts available on most of Windows based text editors. Is it possible to include the standard keyboard shortcuts in Netbeans also? Some examples are: Ctrl+Delete - Delete the current word Ctrl+Backspace - Delete previous word Because the programmers are more habituated to keyboard shortcuts rather than using mouse. So I think inclusion of standard keyboard shortcuts for the Editor would make Netbeans more useful and favorite among programmers (probably Windows based Java programmers like me). I have seen the keyboard shortcuts of Eclipse IDE and they look pretty good and standard. So why don't implement these in Netbeans? I can provide a list of most useful and standard shortcuts, if someone is ready there to implement the same. Thanks in advance. Regards, Satish. ===== || Satyam Vada, Dharmam Chara || || Matru Devo Bhava, Pitru Devo Bhava || || Acharya Devo Bhava, Atithi Devo Bhava || __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
