BTW the startup switch -J-Dorg.netbeans.spi.java.project.support.ui.packageView.TRUNCATE_PACKAGE_NAMES=true is invaluable for this reason. Far from perfect, but much more convenient than the default behavior in my experience. May be an exposed option in a post-4.0 release, or ideally we would patch the tree control itself to automatically elide less-significant portions of node names when horizontal space is tight, according to the current window width. -J. -- Jesse Glick <mailto:[email protected]> x22801 NetBeans, Open APIs <http://www.netbeans.org/>
