Q: Palette/Toolbox GUI L&F

Hi,

Our application requires a palette/toolbox. We are
studying the two examples available in Netbeans:

1) The Java Form Editor palette has been around for
sometime. It has the standard Netbeans L&F used other
GUI components, e.g., Explorer, Inspector, and
Properties panels.

2) The new Mobility Visual Designer palette has a more
modern L&F, but this L&F is very different from those
used by other Netbeans panels in MVD.

This leads to some questions on GUI L&F issues: 

Is the MVD palette L&F a new L&F for netbeans
applications? 

Also, is it possible to switch other explorer panels
in an application to use the same L&F, e.g., changing
the properties panel in MVD to used the L&F as the
palette?
