ContextEditor tutorial

After running throught the tutorial http://www.netbeans.org/kb/50/quickstart-gui.html the UI is built successfully and runs within the IDE. However, when the dist directory along with a copy of the lib directory for the swing is jar'd the webserver can not run it. The tomcat webserver is configured correctly but I have noticed that the tutorial does not create a main to run the program. NetBeans 5.0 includes a GUIFormExamples package with ContactEditor, this particular one contains a main. I tried cutting & pasting the main section from the examples folder to my tutorial package but it does not work.
