Good point.  But I don't think this is a problem - I hope
that the $lang sites will really grow to be independant,
with their own content which might not be translated into
english.  Of course I hope some of it is, but that IMO is
secondary to getting the localised content on the sites in
the first place.

I would not be UNhappy to see dozens of howtos etc in
russian which are not available on www in english.  One
possibility is that those articles might grow the Russian
community in size, until there are some more ppl who might
help translate some of them back to english.  Great!  But
even if that doesn't happen, well, the NB community is
still bigger and richer than it was.
