Actually AfAIK the project pages here (I guess this is what you are 
referring to) :

   http://www.netbeans.org/community/projects/

where due to be completely cleaned up and removed; the *huge* majority
of the projects there have completely dead websites, or embarassingly
out of date content.  The plan was to try to move any relevant developer
documentation (which used to live on those websites) to the new 
platform.netbeans.org site, which is sort of a module developer's home.
I'll try to find out what's happening with those projects pages.

That would be great IMO.  It would be good to make sure that the process
for getting involved and getting started in a localisation effort was
easy and clear before doing that, to maximise the chances of interested
ppl being able to jump right in and help.

Certainly possible, though the language combo currently points to localised
versions of web content, rather than anything to do with loocalising the
IDE.  Of course if the extra "localise" link went to the page on www about
localising content *and* the IDE then ppl would see both.

That would be me - I set that page up and initially drove the drive :-) for
getting localised web content.  Happy to work with you on improving it and
the whole process.
