extending arrays

Hi, me again ;-) Just another silly bytecode question...is there any way adding additional members to arrays? According to the Java Language Spec arrays are objects. Consequently, there must be something like an internal arrayObject that holds information like length and offers methods like clone. Is there any chance of extending these internal arraysObjects?
