Dear Eric (et al.) -- I thought you might want to know that I have a talented graduate student undertaking as an independent study project to: a) Generalize the (forward-flow) analyzer so that it can be used more easily in a wider range of cases; and b) Adding backward-flow analysis, with the same generality. She is just getting started, but I am hopeful of code we can submit by the end of the calendar year. Regards -- Eliot Moss
