Thanks for your contribution! If we can split the svn into several git repositories, and if reposurgeon can do that, I think a good organization would be:

repo 'asm': keep only the content of the 'asm' svn folder (without the folder itself, e.g. something like the ASM_4_FUTURE_2 branch), keep all the branches (some branches, such as ANN_SUPPORT, include also the content of other svn folders, e.g. 'web': just ignore it), and keep all the tags except ASMDEX_1_0, ASM_GUIDE_1_0, beforepref, BYTECODE_OUTLINE_*, JORM_* (likewise, just ignore the content outside the 'asm' folder, if any).

repo 'asmdex': keep only the content of the 'asmdex' folder (without the folder itself), and keep the ASMDEX_1_0 tag.

repo 'eclipse': keep only the content of the 'eclipse' folder (without the folder itself), and keep the beforepref and BYTECODE_OUTLINE_* tags.

repo 'guide': keep only the content of the 'guide' folder (without the folder itself), and keep the ASM_GUIDE_1_0 tag.

repo 'web': keep only the content of the 'web' folder (without the folder itself), no tags, no branches.
