Transaction Support in osWorkflow

Is anyone using transactions in osWorkflow? (except with ofbiz)
I'd like to add transaction functions to the persistence interface (begin,
commit, rollback), so we could put some basic transaction functionality into
BasicWorkflow and BasicWorkflowContext.
What do you think?
