Right, the reason there is no build isn't because we're all too stupid 
to know how to make one and make it available for download. The reason 
is because there isn't sufficient documentation, and people who 
download it in its current state are expected to know how to navigate 
their way around a cvs tree.

Yep, I agree with your points, but maven has NOTHING to do with this. 
Nor will it solve any of these problems, so it's utterly irrelevant.

You know what, maybe you shouldn't use it. It's clearly not of the 
quality you expect, nor mature enough, so why not just move on?
