I am wondering what the extent of the LDAP support in OSUser is supposed to be. From a quick scan, it doesn't seem like the LDAP support is very comprehensive, and I was wondering what people's expectations are LDAP is capable of storing all of the user, group and profile information I guess (depending on the LDAP schema) but I am not sure that is what OSUser is trying to do It seems like the credential provider is read-only provider and expects to be chained in with other providers to provide any real functionality Am I missing something? I expect that if the app server provider were ghosting LDAP, perhaps this situation would be different, but since the javadoc comment for the LDAPCredentialsProvider says DOCUMENT ME! I was trying to get a better idea of what its intended purpose it Thanks, Matthew ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
