Doing what you ask is really easy. It might be nice if
a tutorial or code samples existed, but it's simple
enough that you don't really need one. If you have any
skill with Java at all you can figure it out in not much
time. It's not a framework where it's really hard to get started.

If, on the other hand, your level of skill is such that 
displaying hits/misses or caching Java objects is hard,
then you probably shouldn't be writing caching code; the
ins-and-outs of doing caching *well* are much more complicated.

No disrespect meant; I'm making general points.
