Sorry if that seemed aggressive. It was just all your posts were very similar and you are much mire likely to get a response if you keep them together. I have never read WW in Action but I assume the Caveat Emptor example is the same one from Hibernate extended to cover WW. If that is now out of date I would suggest just following phils tutorial I linked to which is what I first used and then refer back to your book for the parts that are still relevant.
