Re: OpenAMF vs Flash MX's internal support for web services.

There is also a bug in the out-of-the-box web services.  The bug is described as follows:
  If you are using apache web server to redirect your incoming url to another internal server, the WebService object will not connect to the redirected server.  

It is definetly faster to us the amf. However to much data can slow the loading of certain components, such as the datagrid.  

Also if you are using asix with jboss v3.2.6, then the flash WebService object will not digest the returned faultcodes correctly.  AMF does a great job of handleing errors.  Attach a log to the NetConnection object and it makes debugging lots easier.

If you deciede to go the Remoting, there is a Flash add-on you have to install to see it in your library.
