What you're seeing is probably related to the following bug: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1214292&group_id=54 559&atid=474136 This has been fixed in CVS. In 0.7.7-alpha-1 you can increase the no. of ORB threads to reduce the likelihood of it occurring. To do this set the maxThreads attribute of TcpConfiguration in openjms.xml: E.g: <TcpConfiguration port="3035" maxThreads="100"/> -Tim > -----Original Message----- > From: openjms-user-admin-5NWGOfrQmneRv+LV9MX5uipxlwaOVQ5f@public.gmane.org > [mailto:openjms-user-admin-5NWGOfrQmneRv+LV9MX5uipxlwaOVQ5f@public.gmane.org] On Behalf > Of Koen Vandenbussche > Sent: Thursday, 6 October 2005 7:19 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: RE: [openjms-user] openjms "receiver hang" problem > > Hi, > > This problem appears in 0.7.6.1 and 0.7.7.alpha using tcp > with SQLServer as database. > Till recently I thought my application was wrong but after > changing OS from Windows2000 to WindowsXP, the problem occurs > less frequently. > > Setup of my application: > Every client listens to a subject [server] and publishes > messages [subject=client] to the server.
