Hello Tim, Iam using session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE. So i dont think client needs to send any explicit acknowledgement after retrieving messages. So i dont know where the problem is. Also on a different note, are there any group/company giving commercial support for OpeJMS.Any pointers here would be very much apreciated. Many Thanks Suman Tim Anderson <[email protected]> wrote: Are you acknowledging the messages? I sent some 5000 messages to the queue and left them in the queue for more than 24 hours. when i try to retrieve all the messages from the queue, iam not seeing them getting deleted[Iam seeing the messages in the queue using admin console]. But when i restart openJMS,than iam able to see messages getting deleted.[Again iam using the admin console for this]. The above problem disappears if i try to retrieve messages as soon as i put them onto the queue. Iam not setting any explicit message properties like timetolive, expiry time etc.All being used are the default ones. Can anybody help me in this regard???
