com.sun.tools.javac.Main measn tools.jar cannot be found in the classpath. 
Proable causes are either you are using a JRE instead of a JDK or JAVA_HOME 
is not set correctly.

Stop the database. Take a copy of the database directory. This is the most 
reliable way. The hot backup and restore has issues on large databases. This 
is an area that is in great need of help so if you have some time please help 
us improve the backup/restore functionality.
