Hi list,
I have a database with about 100k objects (5megabyte) stored. When I
create new objects, I use
createObject(java.lang.String className,
int access,
java.lang.String objName)
This call takes on my machine (external database, running on localhost,
4Ghz)
about 5 seconds, even on very easy objects.
I splitted the call into createObject(className) and nameObject(obj,
name) and
realised, that the creatObject call takes less than a second, but the
nameObject takes more than 4 seconds.
Any ideas but not using names ;-) ?
tnx,
Thomas Dingler
