[picocontainer-dev] nanocontainer-persistence and compilation on multiple JDK's

I know this has been dealt with on other lists, I just can't find the 
information.

JDK 1.6 includes many extra functions to java.sql.Connection.  Because 
of this, NanoContainer-Persistence's Failover connection doesn't compile.

Since the new methods also require JDK 1.6 only data types, the only 
real way I see that this can work is provide a JDK 1.6 source version??

Are there better ways at getting this going?
