What about adding permissions to attributes and what about wiki-enabled longtext fields ...

Hi;

I would like to hear your opinion about 2 changes:

1.) Add a new permission for issue attributes, which let a field render
     readonly, when the current account does not have the permission
     to modify an attribute.

     What would be a feasible approach ?
     My first guess would be to add something like:

     permission to read
         If this permission is enabled, the field will be rendered readonly
     permission to write
         If this permission is enabled, the field will be rendered writable.

     These permissions would have to be set in the field attribute information.
     i guess the best approach would be to allow setting of which roles are allowed
     to read/modify the field. But maybe it would be sufficient to create
     permission entries into the role permissions, like:

         Attribute_<fieldName> | Edit
         Attribute_<fieldName  | Read

     I would consider this as not very ellegant, becasue it will generate a huge
     amount of Permissions. I dont like this idea at all. But probably it would be
     doable. Maybe there is an ellegant solution, which i overlook ?

     Then there might be something like a default behaviour: it can be
     choosen on a per field basis, whether it will be rendered readOnly, even
     when write permission is given. In order to modify such a field,
     an additional icon could be placed into one corner (edit button).
     It may be sesefull to make this option available only for longtext fields
     though.

2.) Add the Wiki/html/plaintext feature which already exists for comment
     fields also to all longtext fields (when rendered readOnly).

     For obvious reasons, this feature makes only sende in connection with
     the above feature that enables rendering of readOnly longtext fields.


Any comments/opinions about this feature request wopuld be appreciated.
If it is not completely useless, i will create 2 new feature requests into our tracker.
