Thast leads to tight integration ...:

We could implement a CommentContainer in such a way, that it "links" to a thread in an external forum. So the user can access the commentsSection via the forum OR Scarab (authentication would be an issue) ...

Then this use case would become possible:

- user enters a first comment into the issue.
- scarab creates a forum entry in the integrated forum for this particular issue.
- From now on, users can contribute to the comments section via the forum or
alternatively via Scarab (which takes the role of the "Forum client").

Another use case:

- user creates a forum entry first.
- Then user creates a Scarab issue.
- In the comments section, user can associate the forum thread to the Scarab comments section.

And finally...

Now what about an API to nabble ... ;-) ?  

Am i phantasizing ? Or is that a cool idea ? And could that be implemented ? And what backdraws does that imply ?
