"Ok, i did a search session about Wiki rendering engines and state of the art development.
What i found so far is:

1. Radeox:
URL: Not found
Radeox seems to be dead since one year. There was an announcemnet from the core developer about forking the project, but i could not find the fork. So i suspect, radeox development has fully stopped. I strongly favorize to count opn active projects, so i consider replacing radeox. So what alternatives do we have ?

2. bliki in a jar
URL: http://matheclipse.org/en/Bliki_in_a_JAR .
They claim to be able to render the wikimedia language. The project seems to be actively developed, but it is a fork from a GPL based project, so this aparently cant be used for Scarab.

3.) Wikimodel
URL: http://code.google.com/p/wikimodel/
Interesting development. They support creole-1.0 and many other wiki-languages. This seems to be worth a secnd look. The usage license is apache-2.0 ( see http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0 )
