Development plans

I was wondering what were the development plans? It's been a while since the last
release. I also saw some issues that were fixed since the last release which I would
be interested to get.

I could download the source possibly and just build from the trunk but I was not sure
if I would need to upgrade the database and if so, where I would find the upgrade
script since it is not a release...
