Fair enough, i was in a similar position a few years back.

If you search through this mailing list for oracle you see quickly that 
there's two small initial problems with the database (wrong directory 
path and table name too long) that occur during build stage. 
But no one seems to have been able to log in to the running application.
Since scarab has worked well with oracle before (at late as b20 i 
believe) i can't imagine the problem to be too complex if you are willing 
to help us out, and we'd be, as oracle users or not, greatly grateful.
