transaction retransmit time

Hi all,

I realized that the option to set the Retransmit time of a transaction
is not available on the nist-sip implementation. When I try to change
the default retransmit time, a UnsupportedOperationException is thrown
Is that true ?
Is there any functional reason to not set the retransmit time ?
If not, are you looking forward to change this ? If you need any help
in this case please let me know...
