RE: SF security question

Andreas,

In the current security model, there is the notion of a domain and an
entity in the domain can do anything, an entity not in a domain can do
nothing, with domain membership being decided on whether or not you have
appropriate credentials signed by the CA for your domain. This is
limited, and clearly has no notion of allowing some things and not
others to specific principles.

We have (in the labs, being tested but not quite ready for release) a
richer version of the security model which will cover this kind of
situation... This will probably come out after we move to the final
release of SF3.x as the fisrt change to be rolled out in sf4.0.

from reading the SF documentation it is not clear to me whether the
following is possible or not in SF with security enabled:
Suppose that an SF daemon is running on some node, can I restrict who
and from which machine somebody can deploy components into this
particular daemon ? I.e. I'd like to state things like "only user xy
from host z can deploy components". Or "all users from host y can deploy
components".
