I've modified metaschema jar to include etc/schema.xml and the test to 
load it from there
rather than from external sysproperty.

I have not been able to find how to add anything but manifest in META-INF
(I'll post a request on maven list).

If we're not happy with etc path in jar we can change it but I have 
another maven issue here:
if something in CVS tree is say src/etc/schema.xml and I set 
maven.jarResources.basedir=src,
how do I tell maven to copy etc/schema.xml to another path in 
target/classes for it to be jarred?

In general I'm finding that reproducing the full flexibily of Ant tasks 
can be sometimes fiddly.
Do you if there a way to access directly ant task via maven?
