Hi again,

OK I committed what I have now.  Made a small attempt to get the 
project.xml's spice-compliant.

What's generally done when one forks something from a sandbox?  Do we 
write up something on a history.xdoc describing where we got the code?  
Do we include the original developers in the <developers/> list in the 
POM?  Just want to avoid stepping on toes, I think the Apache license 
only requires us to state that this includes code from Apache.
