Alchemist

Hi,

in light of the imminent release of alchemist for use in loom (which is 
the only place which uses alchemist afaik), I'm going to move alchemist 
to components and make the 1.1 release from there.

Every now and then I come back to the thoughts that it may or may not be
worth while to have such a small project (ie it could be incorporated 
somewhere), but I guess it will keep growing with additions from other
framework components.

Anyway, just thinking out loud.  Full steam forward.
