Hi Ran,

You can send IDOC using any Resource Adapter which is capable of invoking
Remote Function Modules RFMs( like BAPIs and RFCs). You can use the
following RFCs to send IDOC to a SAP instance.

1. IDOC_INBOUND_SYNCHRONOUS     - for creating IDOC synchronously at the SAP
instance
2. IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS    - for creating IDOC asynchronously at the
SAP instance

You refer the documentation of the above RFCs to get the details about how
to use them.

You can use the Resource Adapter developed by ASAP Solutions
(www.asapsolutions.com) .
They provide an easy to use XML API to send and receive IDOCs from SAP.

  In our project , we are using SAP Resource Adapter (from SAP) to talk to
an SAP instance(BAPI). Now one of business partner insisting us to send IDOC
instead of invoking BAPI. Does SAP Resource Adapter supports IDOC?( I have
the impression that SAPJRA does not support IDOC and outbound
communication). How do I  send IDOC when I am using SAP Resource Adapter?.
