This is to formally announce that the Porter Project
Standard Proposals, Part 2 have been successful in
both Houses (General and Commercial) through the Jini
Community Decision Process (JDP) and are full ratified
Jini Community Standards. We're in the process of moving
these approved specifications from their Proposals page at:
http://www.jini.org/nonav/standards/Proposals/Porter2/proposal.html
into the Standards area ( http://www.jini.org/standards )
on Jini.org.

Congratulations again to Bob Scheifler and the Porter team.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the JDP process on
these Proposals.

This mail serves as the "Final Results Announcement" as specified
in the JDP. For more information on the process, please refer to:
http://www.jini.org/jdp/v0.7 .

The JDP now calls for a two week "Appeal" period for any Community
appeals to the Jini TOC (email: discuss @ toc.jini.org ) regarding
the elections.

If you have any questions... please let me know.

thanks -Jim
