We are fast approaching the Ninth Jini Community
Meeting (Oct 19-20) in Chicago! It's going to be
an exciting couple days -- check out the list of
presentations at:

The title (Jini Community Meeting) of this event has
always thrown me a bit... you don't need a "Jini Community
Membership Card" ;-) to join in -- the event is open and
free and we hope to attract a broad group of attendees
(software engineers, hackers, managers, marketing and business
types, executives) with a range of Jini experiences (advanced
to just getting interested). The subjects presented and
discussed center around Jini technical, business and
Community topics, but we also spread into industry trends, etc.
We still have some space left for the event, so first off...
I'm hoping you're still considering joining in. Second, this
is *our* Community event -- so I'd also like to ask that you
help spread the word to folks outside our Community who you
think might be interested. Thanks.
