Open LUS

Hi all -

I've just listened to Daniel Steingberg's 'Beyond the Choir'
presentation, and a question struck me.....

Does anyone know of,  or is aware of anyone that might have the
courage to open, a Internet-wide Lookup Service so that we can start
getting Jini out of the LAN, and out to other people to see what it
can do?
