OK, thanks. Good point. They are a good starting point it seems. Most people end up developing their own deployment scripts? I'll probably just start with these and move toward things we need. -Patrick -----Original Message----- From: Brian Murphy [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, April 05, 2007 4:12 AM To: Logan, Patrick Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: Scripts and lookup groups ... That said, the thing to remember though is that in both the urun case and the jrun case, the purpose of the 'jsk' component of the associated distribution is to provide examples of config and policy files, not necessarily to provide general-purpose development tools, containers, or other utilities. Thus, scripts like the old urun and the newer jrun (which is auto-generated by the bodega installer) are provided simply as a convenience so that people can run the associated applications without a lot of setup. They are not the primary focus of the examples, the config and policy files are (for what it's worth).
