Iplementation help needed

Hi,

I am new to the JTAPI.

We are trying to developing a IVR system. The requirements are like this.

1) When user dials to the system, it will promt caller with number of choices 1,2,3 etc.

2) Based on the caller DTMF input, the system will fecth data from data base and played onto the caller line.

Is this possible with JTAPI?

I tried JSoftPhone example given in XTAPI. But it did not work for incoming line.

What type of modem I shd use for this kind of application?
