Hi,
You can only acchive it with an XML object. If you want to initiate it from
JTAPI then you need to use CiscoTerminal.SendData. An example:
((CiscoTerminal)termConnections[i].getTerminal().sendData("<CiscoIPPhoneExec
ute><ExecuteItem Priority=\"0\"URL=\"Key:Mute\"/></CiscoIPPhoneExecute>");

Subject: [JTAPI] How to mute a cisco phone after answering an incoming call
using JTAPI
Hi
I have a scenario and I'm wondering if anyone has any
advice on the best way to approach this problem. I'm
am using Cisco JTAPI on CCM 4.1(2).
I want answer an incoming call to a Cisco desk phone
(i.e. 7940/7960) and keep it in mute state
prgramatically. I could not find any method in Cisco
JTAPI API to mute a terminal or a terminal connection.
Does anyone have an idea how to do this.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
-Jennifer
