Dear Zeshan, I will be glad if you could help me out as you seem to be ahead. I need to do an university project wherein I have to have some CTI. I will terminate a phone line in my PC and when the phone rings a java program will be invoked that will provide with a menu list of people who are using the phone and a corresponding number like 1 for X, 2 for Y and 3 for Z . When the person who is dialing punches is say 2 then there should be a pop up message in the PC saying that there is a call waiting for Y. Please advice me what all will i require to do this I have some knowledge in Java for the menullist part and popup message i plan to use Java Text to Speech and Java Native Interface respectively. Please let me know how i could get the phone receiving part working with JTAPI. Do i need anything apart from modem .... Your help will be greatly appreceiated.
