Edoardo, You do not tell what the problem is exactly with those handsets. My guess however is that the variations in the security policies are to blame. Java Verified signing places the applications to the trusted 3rd party (identified 3rd party) domain (the same domain you get into with Verisign or Thawte certificates) and both Sprint and AT&T have disabled certain functionalities from that domain. You need to get the signing from the carrier directly to be able to access many of the restricted (read: more powerful) APIs best regards Hartti Suomela Forum Nokia -----Original Message----- From: A mailing list for KVM discussion [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of ext Joe Bowbeer Sent: Sunday, October 28, 2007 12:29 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Java Verified Program questions On 10/15/07, edoardo schepis <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > I'd like to share with you my first experience with Java Verified Program. > You can find my post at: > http://www.jroller.com/jeddi/date/20071012 > > I have also a question for you. > We'd like to test our jvp bundle on us-carrier branded devices, but as > soon as I've started with first two carriers it seems not working. > I've tried with Cingular Motorola V3xx and Sprint Motorola V3m. > > Any hint about it? Try at developer.motorola.com and developer.sprint.com if your question is not answered here. And let us know what you find. It would indeed be progress if jvp-certified MIDlets could be installed on Motorola and Sprint handsets. -- Joe Bowbeer ======================================================================== === To unsubscribe, send email to [email protected] and include in the body of the message "signoff KVM-INTEREST".
