C10K is being able to have 10,000 concurrent connections to a server.
It's the sort of problem that NIO was introduce to solve.

I don't know what the C10K problem is.  No matter what the JERI NIO
implementation does, I think that the JERI stack will probably allow you
to implement exactly the solution you need by implementing your own
endpoint.
