Strange problem

I use 1.5 on a Mac (G4, 10.4.8).
I think I read the tutorials carefully. I double checked the codebase, the security file etc.

The rmi server starts OK. When I bind for the first time, I see that the HTTP server sends the remote
interface class file to rmiregistry.

The client starts. I see that the HTTP server sends the file again.

The client fails with NoClassDefFoundError. Nothing else: no security exception.

I indeed recompiled and restared everything, to be sure that the compiled code is consistent.

Any idea ?

Thanks in advance
